AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): A good number of Tiprasa voters have joined CPI-M in the presence of former Chief Minister Politburo Manik Sarkar today at the CPI-M party office in Melarmath.

While joining, Manik Sarkar asked the youth supporters why they are joining, because "only suffering" will be received if stay in the opposition.

“Get ready for No MGNREGA work, fabricated cases, beating by goons and attacks. All will be at loss”, Sarkar told the new joiners.

On yesterday at Gandacherra 12 persons joined CPI-M in a joining programme. All of them are Tiprasa.

Tiprasa vote banks decreased for the Left parties with the rise of IPFT back in 2016-17 whereas after 18 months of BJP-IPFT Govt ,the vote-banks again raising under Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP), the indigenous wig of the CPI-M headed by Jitendra Chaudhury.
