Agartala, Sep 27 (TIWN): The mentality of keeping the state backward worked for so long. "Nothing can be done in this state. There are geographical and economic problems of the state". With these excuses the state was virtually underdeveloped and hence the image of the state was poor. As a result, the state was virtually defamed. The current government has changed the mindset in this situation.

 Now everything is possible. Tripura is on the path of development. The present government is working towards that goal. Chief minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday addressed in the NSS Golden jubilee year & 6th State Level NSS Festival organised by  Tripura State NSS Cell at Agartala Town Hall. Along with him, Sports Minister Manoj Kanti Deb was also present.  The The chief minister spoke about the importance of NSS. Strength, determination and management are the key factors that NSS works with, which is very useful for building a healthy society. NSS teaches discipline. The Chief Minister said that people can achieve success in their life by practicing these values in life. He said he never thought he would become a chief minister and there were many who thought he would be chief minister. But it was only because of discipline that he was able to hold the post.
