Modi Govt allocated 50,000 crores Extra for Northeast : Tripura CM

AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday has praised the Modi Govt for allocating extra Rs. 50,000 crores of budget for Northeastern states.

Addressing in the inauguration programme of “Workshop on Transformation of Aspirational Block Programme” at Pragna Bhawan in Agartala CM said, “Various slogans for developing the Jana-Jati people were raised various times but with time’s passage, such slogans’ downed their voices. Actually, they use the Jana-Jani people but in the true sense nobody thought about their development in real. Thus Jana-Jantis lives never changed here”.

“It is only Modi Govt who has actually worked and still working for the upliftment of the people in Northeast, the zone which is highest populated by indigenous people. PM Modi after assuming power allocated Rs. 50,000 Extra for various departments in the Northeast”, he said.

He further mentioned, how the Modi Govt improved the connectivity in the Northeast. 

CM promised that Tripura will no more lagging behind.

“PM Modi has shown path how to choose one block for development and set model and followed Modi’s path, Govt of Tripura selected 5 blocks for developments”, said CM.

CM announced that this time Govt did not have to give extra rice for the poor as they became independent after RD Dept properly monitored the supplies.
