AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): National Congress on Tuesday has hit the BJP Govt and non-Congress State Governments for continuous increase in the VAT on fuels which are increasing the fuel prices higher and higher with the national rate everyday. Referring Delhi’s petrol price, Congress national leader Shamistha Mukharjee, Spokesperson, AICC accused BJP Govt and Delhi’s Kejriwal Govt for hiking fuel taxes which are causing distressed across the markets. Report says, although Tripura, a Northeast state right now suffering due to massive fuel prices. When the Congress leader was referring Delhi’s petrol price is at Rs. 74.13, record shows here in Agartala its price is at Rs. 74.88, higher than Delhi. Mukharjee said, lift of the fuel price means increases of all commodity prices referring the hiking rates of vegetable prices.
Sharmistha Mukharjee was addressing about the distress of the markets, countering PM Modi’s claim at US that ‘everything is going well in India’.
