AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): Central & State Security forces upheld Law & Order in spite of threats from criminal type politicians in Badharghat By-Election. In short span of 18 months regime of BJP Govt in Tripura, the state has witnessed a massive fall of political ethics and the Govt’s independent work culture have been threatened time to time, with rise of direct political interference in the administration labeling party office and govt offices directly, crossing the lines of political persons’ limitation within the boundary. The immoral culture started with rise of evils in the politics like Pratima Bhowmik who was caught in camera to threaten IPS officer warning to kill him on spot. She bagged MP seat via massive rigging, misusing police administration and against whose MP seat winning Supreme Court has sought report from Election Commission. Bhowmik like persons have surprisingly motivated many women who are new to the politics and yesterday Mimi Majumder, the candidate of Badharghat by-election has shocked public by revealing herself as the second Pratima Bhowmik.

Nodoubt, Pratima Bhowmik like BJP leaders are motivating this hooligan culture, inspiring even women to cross the limits who are in politics. Social media users on Monday have slammed BJP MLA candidate Mimi Majumder for her acentric, uncultured and unlawful behavior with office officials asking their names to make them politically targeted.

During Badharghat by-election, BJP candidate Mimi Majumder was seen threatening various police officials with around 20 to 25 BJP activists, breaking model code of conduct.

Police although were right in duty because within 200 metre any political party can not gather with so much of public but the BJP activists continued to stay before booths with 20 to 25 persons, whereas gathering beyond 2 to 5 persons before booths are not allowed. Moreover, many police officials removed their name-plates when Mimi Majumder was shouting at them asking their names with Political ill motive.

Hence analysis says, BJP activists can’t be blamed all the time, because they were taught by the party what to do.

Mimi Majumder already made her facebook profile named “MLA Mimi Majumder”, although election result is still on hold.

Mimi Majumder is however disciple of Ram Prasad Dal, the 8th passed MLA of Tripura BJP, aspiring to be Minister and allegedly pressuring Cabinet members to make him a Minister. There are two FIRs against MLA Ram Prasad Pal, recent an arrest warrant against Pal came in media which was issued reportedly by the High Court, later anyhow he managed to escape the media but on hearing date the MLA’s vehicle was spotted inside the High Court.

Such, chaos during election was never felt before BJP’s rise in Tripura.

However, amid all these, police in Tripura along with CRPF have managed the poll environment well. Although voting rate downed at 79% still this election was managed in far better way than the Lok Sabha and previous Elections.
