AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Although now Government has said that the notification No-F1(28)-DHS / GS/18 had a drafting mistake, public now have questioned, if it was a drafting mistake or if it was just a Draft, not final, why it is written “Come into force with Immediate Affect†?
Also Kumar Alok, Principal Secretary told media that it was a full-notification but there were errors and based on Principal Secretary’s statement, local newspapers have raised question on Govt and Chief Secretary’s various types of statements, although Principal Secretary’s comment is logical as the notification of scrapping free medical service was issued on Sep-6 saying “Come into force with Immediate Affect”.
However, now various bills have to paid in Govt hospitals if the patient belongs to BPL family.
The BJP Govt’s clarification has come two days after opposition CPI-M and Congress held various protests followed by one person’s death due to lack of Rs. 10000 before entering OT. CM however on yesterday said, the person Pramod Modok died not due to lack of money, but his BP was high and so his operation was rejected.
