Congress demands peaceful vote counting for 14% Panchayat seats tomorrow

AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has demanded peaceful vote counting by tomorrow for 14% seats for which election was conducted on July 27.
Tripura BJP has won 86% seats uncontested which has been alleged by Congress by force winning.
Placing a deputation to DGP (In-Charge) Rajiv Singh, Gopal Roy told media if peaceful vote counting is not held, Congress will come on the road.
“Our workers were beaten and now hospitalized. There is nothing called democracy in Tripura under this JUMLA-Govt, but there should not be any disturbance in the Panchayat election result”, said Roy.
The Congress leader also said that DGP has assured for peaceful vote counting by tomorrow.
