AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Amid IAS Tanushree Debbarma like gems already rooted from Tripura, Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath while addressing at Umakanta Academy has claimed that this is first time that in UPSC preliminary 7 youths were selected from Tripura.

He said this in sense to boast BJP Govt and also said all types of helps will be offered by the state govt to them so that they can pass the exam.

“However they will have to pass the main exam. We did not get everyone’s names. With one person I have talked already”, he said.

However how far valid is the Minister’s claim, it’s not judged.

The Union Public Service Commission, commonly abbreviated as UPSC, is India's premier central recruiting agency. It is responsible for appointments to and examinations for All India services and group A & group B of Central services.
