AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): The SMART City dream of Tripura people is far from destination and the ongoing political blame games between BJP and CPI-M failed to end public agonies.

Public on camera yesterday raised question, Govt has been changed it is good but where is the betterment of public lives, when city is paralyzed in rain and flood water with unending miseries for hospital goers ?

Even though AMC is blamed by BJP for the water-logging but BJP challenged the obstacles before the election and promised all impossible things will be made possible.

The city neither has left space for footpath, nor for drains and the drains anyhow in few places became footpath by covering them, which has further increased water-logging problems of the city. In this situation, even though Govt is determine to make Agartala city a smart city, but ground report says, it’s becoming impossible to make smart city like metro cities with its unscientific constructions and previous same brains of state engineers.

Public demanded the smart city project must be handedover to well-reputed engineer groups which may be hired from abroad.
