AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): BJP’s organized violence ahead of Panchayat Election terrorizing Public across Tripura. Not a single election BJP could accomplish peacefully in Tripura starting from 2018’s local body elections to Lok Sabha Election. In this ongoing Panchayat Election also the situation remained tensed due to massive violence sponsored by ruling BJP and everyday across state violence are taking place. Followed by a clash between BJP at Dharmanagar, North Tripura BJP hooligans attacked on CPI-M party office, generating much tension at there. The incident took place in Dharmanagar West Chandrapur area after public have allegedly revolted against BJP’s bike hooligans and burnt various vehicles after they created turmoil in the area centering Panchayat Election for few days. Centering Panchayat Election, massive violence is going on in Tripura, however, this is the first incident when BJP activists were injured. Many times, BJP members have met in clash with each-others. Also, BJP came in fight with its own ally IPFT in this election.Oppositions’ many candidates’ nominations have been snatched and on yesterday 6 candidates of CPI-M were injured at Belonia.

On yesterday BJP MP Pratima Bhowmik, the most controversial leader of BJP has been returned which has increased the violence level. Tripura history can never forget and forgive Pratima Bhowmik led previous elections’ rigging and winning election via open rigging, threatening IPS officer Kiran Kumar on camera to be killed on spot saying, “Tereko abhi hum maar dalega”.

Even though, Chief Minister Biplab Deb had warned criminals of all parties and the situations were going on peacefully in the state, but all of a sudden various attacks in organized way started in Tripura centering the Panchayat election once again.

On yesterday, in Rajnagar of South Tripura Subrata Debnath, candidate of Panchayat election was injured heavily.

Four have been injured in Rajnagar including leaders as MLA Sudhan Das, Arup Majumder.

Tripura Panchayat Election to be held on July 27. 

After South Tripura massive violence and attacks on CPI-M candidates today, Left party leaders met State Election Commissioner G K Rao.

Former MP Jitendra Chaudhury has told media today that State Election Commissioner G K Rao is receiving various humiliating messages from other states centering polls.G K Rao has allegedly said, he is tied under various pressures and in September 2018 election also he could not function due to such pressures.

On July 2nd, attack was held upon Sonamura’s CPI-M leaders and 6 injured including former and Elected MLAs.

At Dharmanagar, North District’s various spots, Dukli same attacks took place. At Dukli BJP supporters tore nomination papers of the candidates but on being asked, BDO said he did not see anything.

In Dhalai also same attacks took place and in South Tripura massive attacks reported.

6 candidates injured today at Belonia. Few were saved after they took shelter in BSF camp. They were not allowed to take in hospital and later all took shelter in MLA Sudhan Das’s home. Sudhan Das’s mother fell sick but the goons didn’t allow her also to take in hospitals.
