UDAIPUR, July 1 (TIWN): Plastic pollution which is afflict land, waterways have become a major concern for India and Tripura is one of the highest victims of plastic uses.

Plastic was invented for human uses but due to lack of sensibility among humans, plastic is actively working as curse of the science, It is estimated that 1.1 to 8.8 million metric tons (MT) of plastic waste enters the ocean from costal communities each year, even though importance of plastic in everyday lives can not be ignored. Tripura Govt has focused on waste management, urged common men to help the Govt to reduce plastic led damages, however, a little section of people have responded to the please of the Govt. In this situation, little children of a rural school have come forward to help the environment. Students of Pitra Higher Secondary have conducted an anti-plastic drive in the school premise and collected all plastic bottles in sacks. Students, teachers have equally joined the programme.
