AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Newly elected Tripura MP Rebati Tripura has performed in the Parliament with sober delivery with confident and gentle gesture in his first ever address before the speaker.

Amid chaos ongoing in the Parliament led by the opposition, BJP MP Rebati Tripura was heard asking when more funding for the ADC will begin for Northeast states which was decided in a cabinet meeting at Delhi on 23rd January, 2019.

In the presence of OM Birla, Speaker of the house, Rebati Tripura asked, “As you know, on January, 2019 in the cabinet it was decided to give more power to ADC along with more funds. So, I want to know the status of the matter…”

He also demanded to increase to seats in the ADC.

Rebati Tripura further asked the Ministry of Railways, “Whether the Govt has any proposal to revamp all Railway Stations of Aspirational Districts in the near future ?”
