AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): In a rare event, now youths have taken special drive to curb drug addition in the city.

On yesterday at Ujan Abhoynagar bridge area one person was held by locals led by youths when he was carrying drugs, tablets with them.

Out of two, one escaped from the spot but another was caught by public.

Later police and locals controlled the angry youths and stopped them from beating the drug peddler.

Police rushed to the spot and took him in police station.

Generally youths stay away from such drives, but this event has given a positive attitude on #SayNoToDrugs.
