AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Condemning on brutal murder of 3 years old girl at UP, CPI-M’s student wing SFI has staged a protest at Agartala City centre.
The two-year-old girl named Twinkle Sharma was brutally murdered in Tappal area of Aligarh over an argument with her family regarding a small loan amount.
The dead body of the girl, who was missing since the last few days, was found in a garbage dump on June 2.
The murder of 3-year-old Twinkle Sharma after her parents refused to repay a loan of Rs 10,000 has sent shockwaves across the nation. The incident took place in Aligarh’s Tappal town (Uttar Pradesh). According to reports, the girl's body, with eyes gauged out, was found on June 2, in a dumping ground near her house, three days after she went missing. Reportedly, the mutilated body was discovered after a pack of stray dogs had been spotted carrying what appeared to be human body parts. The police said that two accused have been arrested in the case.
The nation is outraged by the barbaric act. The hashtag #JusticeForTwinkleSharma is trending, and netizens across the country are asking that the culprits be brought to justice at the earliest.
