AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Congress has set today’s date to file a petition in the Supreme Court asking the reason behind 168 booths’ re-poll whereas RO himself said 433 booths were vitiated.Congress will demand to have re-poll in whole constituency except these 168 booths where yesterday election was conducted. On Sunday in a press conference, State Congress leader, Advocate Pijush Biswas said, “Congress party already announced that it is disappointed over the decision of Election Commission for declaring election only for 168 booths”. The party also demand CCTV footages from the Election Commission via Supreme Court which “should be” handedover to public. In the press meet, Congress MP candidate Subal Bhowmik said, Election Commission could not create a fearless environment led only around 72% voting percentage, whereas in by-polls also at least 85% voting rates are counted.Subal Bhowmik also alleged, in all 14 booths at Dhanpur, BJP casted fake votes at Dhanpur in 59 number booth voters were removed from the rows.

A re-poll was conducted in Tripura on Sunday followed by the massive rigging, booth capturing. However, as only based on booths’ footage the re-poll action was taken, but the booths which were rigged outside including beating of voters, lakhs of voters could not cats votes, so Congress has decided to file case in Supreme Court.

CPI-M MP Sankar Prasad Dutta already filed a case in Supreme Court, even though the court denied any urgent hearing.
