AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): After many years of protests and demands, finally Tripura schools have been freed from no detention policy.
Thus, from now in each class students have to pass in the exam to promote in the next class.
According to Education Minister Ratanlal Nath the re-introducing the pass-fail system will be started in schools from the 2019-20 academic session.
Earlier, till Class-VIII students were allowed without passing marks, which affected the Education system.
The opposition CPI-M also demanded the same.
