Left Party delegates have met CEO Sriram Taranikanti demanding peaceful election on 12^th May and asked the CEO to ensure no repetition of 11^th April’s poll rigging episodes.

Tripura Lok Sabha Election was conducted in two phases but none of them could occur in a continuous process.

In case of East Tripura election, was poll was postponed from 18^th April to 23^rd April, whereas in case of West Tripura Poll, now 10% booths have ordered for re-polling.

As BJP had pushed out voters from voting rows, thus CPI-M and Congress demanded videographing inside and outside the booths.

However, neither voters not political parties of the opposition are happy as only 168 booths’ re-poll has been announced. They demanded afresh re-poll in whole West Tripura constituency.
