NEW DELHI, May 11 (TIWN): TRIPURAINFOWAY.Com established itself as Tripura’s only independent media to function as voice of people. NRI Saumen Sarkar who runs non-profit Tripurainfoway.com / tripurainfoways.com aimed to expose corruptions and criminals has revealed why TIWN has been always focused with fearless news items for which various types of attacks, false cases, harrasments the Editor has been facing. Addressing media Saumen Sarkar also pinched local media houses for bootlicking politicians and sidelining common men’s voice. “Tripurainfoway.com is the only non-profitable media in Tripura, but neither my profession is journalism not this field is my background. I have been in connection with Tripura media but maximum media houses except few are places of frauds”, said Saumen Sarkar.

“My media is not aimed to bootlick any political party, rather to fight against such bootlickers from the media world. As a media, its first duty is to raise voice against wrongdoings”, the Editor said.

“I have opened this media to raise voice for the common men. As all media houses have been sold to ruling parties or were bound to favour ruling parties, so, where is the voice of common men ?”, he asked.

“All platforms of Common men have been bought by political parties which are ruling, where is the voice of common men ? According to me, as a media person it’s our work to take responsibility and to expose the real happenings, to stand for common men. We can not hide inside caves out of fear”, Saumen Sarkar said.

“Democracy’s meaning is what is wrong, what is write to speak out clearly. This is called Freedom of Speech and this Freedom of Speech should be carried by media and there is no media which is being carried the freedom of speech but their aim is advertisement and to bootlick politicians”, said Saumen Sarkar.

“This my question is, if from USA I can expose the faces of the criminals and I can know about all brokers of my state, that means staying in Tripura you can also do that”, the Editor added.

“In democracy people are important, not the politicians are important. Under Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Tripura’s condition is worse than Bihar and unless you are a criminal you can not stair up the ladder of the BJP”, Saumen Sarkar said.
