AGARTALA, May 7 (TIWN): An youth named Anupam Paul who worked as the IT cell head of Tripura BJP for long and beginner of Cholo Paltai slogan and revolutionist is in hide today because police is searching for him after he shared news against Chief Minister Biplab Deb and fabricated cases were lodged against him. Editor of Hallbol News Channel Prasanta Bhattacharjee has published shocking footage in his facebook page which displayed Anupam Paul’s burnt houses at Jatanbari was totally burnt on yesterday night. Anupam belongs to a poor family and in his absence his mother and younger brother were residing in this sole house. Before few days, both of them were kidnapped allegedly by BJP and later released but as Anupam could not be caught, thus his house was burnt. The case lodged against him is totally illegal.

Already similar cases filed against a journalist Saikat Talapatra who was arrested from Agartala Airport for his facebook posts was released by court in bail whereas the arrest of journalist Saikat Talapatra itself was proven wrong. In the same way Anupam also just shared few news against Chief Minister Biplab Deb and since then Police are searching for him, whereas police can not arrest a person for posting in facebook according to the verdict of Supreme court of India.

Anupam is a creation of BJP and in CPI-M Govt’s time, Anupam used to malign various leading politicians images.

Even after BJP came in power, he created a post against Congress top leader Birjit Sinha, former CM Manik Sarkar with kidney smuggling charges. Even after filing case, police didn’t take any action against him them, but when he left the party BJP just because he shared news items against Chief Minister Biplab Deb police are searching for him.

The news was related to Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s ongoing divorce case.
