AGARTALA, Oct 15 (TIWN): The charge-sheet on the first FIR of Rastriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA) is likely to be submitted within a week. According to a source, the investigative officer (IO)- Sanjay Biswas is about to conclude the investigation of first litigation of RMSA scam, case no- WPS 156/14 soon and likely to submit partial charge-sheet before the court within a week. The source also confirmed that the IO will appeal to Court to complete the trial keeping RMSA scamster Arnab Chakraborty including Kajal Rani Chakraborty (Mother) and Sangita Chakraborty (Wife) behind the bars.

Besides, he will also appeal before the Court to complete the Trial by announcing the other allegedly accused persons- Rajib Dasgupta and Binoy Das as absconding.

The source further informed that IO- Sanjoy Biswas would possibly complete the litigation (FIR 156/14) centering Arnab including his family, Rajib and Binoy. But the investigation for another case (WPS 180/40) is in progress.

It is to be mentioned here; the Additional Mission Director of RMSA had filed an FIR against Treasurer Arnab Chakraborty for misappropriation of department’s fund at West Agartala police station on September 05, this year. Later, police had arrested the multi-crore scamster Arnab from Kolkata on September 14. Thereafter, the police taken him to the custody as per Court’s order and interrogated him.

During the investigation upto September 20, police come to know two names of Tripura State Co-operative Bank’s officers- Sabita Debbarma and Monika Debbarma. Altogether 96 fraud cheques of RMSA were allegedly passed by them.

After the preliminary investigation, police found three names of RMSA- Ambalika Datta, Dilip Kumar Debbarma and Biswarath Debbarma. At a point of time, 120(B) section of Indian Penal Code was added in this litigation, said a source.

The public raised several questions in this regard: Why did police add 120(B) section into this case? Why didn’t police arrest and interrogate Rajib Dasgupta, Binoy Das, Ambalika Datta, Dilip Kumar Debbarma, Biswarath Debbarma, Sabita Debbarma and Monika Debbarma? A section of public suspect that the ultimate result of the case no: WPS 180/40 will come to zero.
