AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 1 (TIWN): Under Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb, many facebook users are facing FIRs, arrests after they shared news against the benefit of BJP. The illegal detention started since November 2018 when one Dipak Debnath was arrested for sharing TIWN news against local Bamutia MLA Krishnadhan Das. In same way few arrests held in last one year of BJP whereas the dirty culture of image maligning as started by BJP in Tripura. This time various persons were held, booked by police in link of sharing news about Biplab Deb’s divorce case with his wife. It includes BJP’s former IT cell chief Anupam Paul, Congress Vice President Tapas Dey, journalist Saikat Talapatra but all the arrests are illegal. Tripura Police led by DIG Arindam Nath even though booked various names of non-BJP people but till day hasn’t taken action against BJP supporters who are openly spreading fake and dirty information over social media.
On the other side, with a dirty post, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s wife Panchali Bhattacharjee was attacked in facebook by Siddhartha Dey, whereas so far police did not take any action.
The facebook user has questioned on childlessness of Manik Sarkar’s wife accusing her as a bad-girl during College life, which is totally fabricated and baseless aimed to harass the reputed lady.
Panchali Bhattacherjee is known as social worker, never used Chief Minister’s vehicle and till day amid her health condition stays in public, rides on rickshaw and autos like other common men. Also her living standard is as simple as any common man.
Resentments have brewed among the common men, but Chief Minister Biplab Deb has allegedly restricted any action against the facebook user Sidhhartha Dey.
BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik and Biplab Deb have announced that after Election, Biplab Deb will do surgical strike in BJP.
