Tripura Police ‘again’ files illegal case against youth for sharing news item in Facebook

AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Tripura Police filed a case against BJP’s Cholo Paltai founder Anupam Paul just because he shared few news items about the ongoing mutual divorce case between Tripura CM Biplab Deb with his wife, whereas the couple denied the claim of media.

But this case is illegal under law because Anupam Pal just shared other people’s post or news, which were not his creation.

The same news was published in national media which are being shared by lakhs of people, but sharing news is not a crime.

Police also on yesterday night moved from house to house of Anupam’s relatives and harassed his friends. One friend who held by police from her house where a big force of police went to bring her in the police station.

Anupam’s mother and younger brother have been allegedly kidnapped, going missing since yesterday night.

Earlier, in November 2018, one Dipak Debnath was arrested by police after he shared TIWN news against BJP MLA Krishnadhan Das’s fake degree.
