AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M has directly raised finger at Pratima Bhowmik, BJP General Secretary for launching post-poll violence in East Tripura. Pratima Bhowmik, is also the West Tripura MP candidate has allegedly been doing this as she is preparing to prevent opposition from casting vote or giving polling agent in the possible re-poll for the West Tripura by playing "fear factor". Due to Pratima Bhowmik led massive election rigging, booth capturing, Election Commission of India (ECI) was bound to send many police observers and finally EC appointed Special Central Observer Vinod Zutshi who was sitting in Tripura to ensure free and fair election. Overcoming all fears and ECI’s bold role to control Election Mafias in Tripura bound the East Tripura Election to be held in much better form than West Tripura.On yesterday, Vinod Zutshi, the Retired Deputy Election Commission and the Special Observer appointed by ECI desires held special review of all the election related reports, documents, video footage etc in respect of 1-Tripura West Parliamentary Constituency. The meeting was held in the conference hall of District Magistrate & Collector, West Tripura District and Zutshi will discuss, question the electoral officers face to face.

Thus, it’s being expected that there will be re-poll in the West Tripura constituency where massive poll violence was done under BJP MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik.

Former deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi was appointed as special observer for Tripura followed by West Tripura poll rigging and massive allegations were coming against East Tripura poll manipulation.
