AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): BJP, IPFT are now in hard struggle to malign Congress President Pradyot Manikya’s image after he slapped a criminal who attacked on Pragya Deb Barman, the MP candidate of Congress for Lok Sabha Election 2019. IPFT and BJP both have condemned Pradyot Manikya’s slap on criminal Mintu Debbarma who was among 30 attackers on Princess Pragya Debbarman. However none of those parties have condemned the attack on Pragya Deb Barman. Ratanlal Nath said, Election Commission was successfully confused by CPI-M, Congress and it was oppositions only who attacked each attacked people including Doctor Dipankar Debnath. After Pradyot Manikya’s slap on Criminal Mintu Debbarma, BJP-IPFT dumped all Election rigging blames on Congress and an FIR was lodged against Pradyot Manikya, whereas on the same day in Dharmanagar BJP attacked one Electoral officer and journalists.
It was around 30 people who attacked on Pragya Debbarman and one of the attackers were caught from the spot, handedover to police, but losing control on attack on own sister, Pradyot Manikya rushed to the police station and slapped the accused, saying, “Attack me, don’t attack on my sister or any woman”.
Ratanlal Nath again and again said that Election Commission was fooled by Congress, CPI-M about poll violence amid lakhs of voters could not cast votes, video footages are viral on deteriorating law and order situation.
The Minister also claimed that due to Rajiv Singh’s removal from law and order it happened.
IPFT Minister Mebar Jamatia said, he doesn’t know Mintu Debbarma whereas netizens have exposed his picture with Mintu Debbarma.
BJP is doing all these to save their polling agents from action of the Election Commission, whereas Congress is determine to file cases against the polling agents of 11th April for attacking opposition polling agents, fake vote casting, destroying web-camera etc.
