AGARTALA, April 15 (TIWN): Since BJP Govt came in power various journalists were attacked across Tripura. Which has been highest concern that media houses were shutdown, publications were stopped and many fought against the Govt successfully in the court whereas many are fighting.

Tripurainfoway (TIWN) main site is still blocked across India and state knows about the recently held attacks on TIWN media persons and Editor’s family members.

Channel Din Raat TV anchor was attacked in Tripura amid model code of conduct implemented in state due to poll.The journalist named Jhutan Shil has filed FIR and lodged complaints to the CEO.

In the FIR Jhutan Shil complained that on yesterday when he was returning at around 8.30 pm to his home at Matripalli area, was caught by 7 BJP miscreants in front of BJP booth office.

They commented that how such a “Boro Sambadik” (Prestigious Journalist) is moving freely in the state. Since around a month, Jhutan’s family members were also threatened in various means.Jhutan was beaten severely and abused verbally.Complaints have been lodged to the Election Commission, SP West and CEO.
