AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): It was Chief Minister Biplab Deb in March 21 openly warned rigging of the ongoing Lok Sabha Election and to “teach opposition” leaders added by his hint, “This time I have got the opportunity to do that…. saying this in full sense”. Next it comes Tripura’s Crime Queen Pratima Bhowmik, the MP candidate of BJP who on April 3rd while addressing in South Tripura warned “booth capturing” openly and asked all BJP activists to be Chowkidars of booths and she will make sure that the ‘jamanat’ of the opposition should be ‘jabd’. Then comes the “betrayer” to the public CEO Sriram Taranikanti, under whose order all security forces were removed from the West Tripura during poll hours and in open poll rigging, in front CCTV camera, damaging the webcasting booths were captured on Thursday. Voters were not allowed to come out of houses by BJP hooligans in groups deployed spot to spot and so it was none other than Election Commission which has promoted the gathering. The rigging was unbelievable and capturing of booths were even beyond imagination of the opposition.

Hundreds of people were beaten. In few booths, in front of BJP activists people had to cast their votes in “Lotus”.

For the first time in Tripura’s history, voting rights were snatched from the people leaving a horrifying experience for the state and specially young generation.

Girls were harassed, from youths to old people all were stopped openly while coming out of houses, few beaten to enter the booth areas, many of those proofs are viral and evident across social media.

Oppositions have demanded re-polling and removal of CEO Sriram Taranikanti and Tripura DGP A K Sukla from the election related works.
