AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): In last 1 year almost 5000 contractual employees were terminated by Tripura BJP Govt whereas in case of appointment only 1377 persons were appointed in Govt Depts. BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar who promised to give jobs via missed calls is popularly known as ‘Missed Call Baba’ now as 8882271955 number which was given by him to 7 lakh unemployed youths before election is saying ‘switched off’. Deodhar said before election, by dialing this number, the unemployed youths will get jobs immediately whereas now in Maratha language it’s saying switched off. Now, Deodhar is busy with Andhra Pradesh Election whereas from Tripura, he is so far away. Deodhar belong to Maharashtra. BJP Govt has crosses 1-year of its Govt in Tripura, but 50000 vacant posts’ filling up promise left unfulfilled, whereas Chief Minister Biplab Deb taking 180 degree turn has openly denied for any such promise, even though all scripted in Vision Document. Recently with another shocking reveltion, it was unearthed that 791 TET qualified unemployed youths are striving to get jobs, when Tripura Govt is crying over teachers’ crisis and managed “Special Relaxation” for teachers recruitment with false claim of teachers crisis.

Amid tall claims about house to house jobs, Tripura state Congress has exposed that only 1377 Govt jobs, whereas before the election it was promised in in 2018-19 at least 50000 Govt jobs will be given.

In a press conference Congress highlighted the important points of the Vision Document (published by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley) where in the first ever promise laid in the Vision Document it was said, “House to house jobs will be given”, Congress spokesperson Pijush Biswas said, “Till now Biplab Deb could not give anything to the unemployed youths except paan-shop, duck-rearing and cow-milking. Only 295 persons have been appointed via TPSC whereas 1082 in other depts in total 1377 Govt jobs were given”. Congress further pointed out whereas 50000 Govt jobs were promised to be given in first one year, BJP Govt cancelled all recruitments and also terminated employees from JICA, Forest, Agriculture, Indo-German Project etc. Also with another shocking data Congress revealed 5000 contractual employees have lost jobs.

BJP before the election had promised to recruit 50,000 unemployed youths in 50,000 vacant posts, but after the election, the Govt is going just in the opposite direction.

Instead of recruiting, BJP Govt has cancelled all existing recruitments. Most surprisingly Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) which is autonomous body, has cancelled many recruitments, which were going since two years.

However, BJP has said it is confident to win the Lok Sabha election denying no promise was broken.
