AGARTALA, April 6 (TIWN): Reacting over a question what action, Tripura Police have taken against MLA Krishnadhan Das against whom FIR was lodged by opposition for poll violence, DGP A K Sukla said that Election Commission had sought a report from Tripura Police about the MLA and police submitted the report.However, what report Police submitted to EC, DGP denied to speak out. Now question raises, did Tripura Police influenced by corrupt officers as Rajiv Singh submitted positive report about Krishnadhan Das and that is the reason no action was taken against Krishnadhan Das yet by EC ? CPI-M has placed a deputation to the West RO Sandeep Mahatme on Tuesday, submitted all persons’ names against whom FIR was lodged but were not arrested. MLA of BJP of Bamutia (Krishnadhan Das) rushed to police station and released the accused by threatening and from then no accused of his area was arrested.

The other MLA Krishnadhan Das is a quite controversial character with these certain points raised by TIWN already : 1) Krishnadhan Das submitted two 12 passed boards in the election commission affidavit, 2) He forced police to arrest TIWN reader for sharing news against him. Police arrested that reader Dipak Debnath at night 2 am without FIR, 3) MLA Krishndhan Das’s profession and ‘citizenship’ is under controversies. Many allegations came that Krishnadhan’s whole family is still in Bangladesh and he came few years back in nexus with drug-empire, 4) Recently after FIR was lodged against Krishnadhan Das by CPI-M he managed two CPI-M leaders illegal arrest. However the DGP has promised to arrest all hooligans if ‘complained’ in 9436544407 and 15103.
