AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): With a big blow for the drug mafias of Tripura sheltered under BJP MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik, former President of BJP Minority Morcha of Sonamura Sundar Ali has challenged that he can prove in the court how Pramita Bhowmik’s brother Biswajit Bhowmik is controlling a vast empire of drug smuggling. The statement came when Sonamura local youths were delivering their views on 1 year of BJP rule in Tripura. Earlier, BJP MLA Surajit Dutta brought a similar allegation against Pratima Bhowmik for sheltering drug mafias also in Agartala like Tapas Ghsoh had exposed her and now with Sonamura youths led allegation against Pratima Bhowmik’s family has cleared doubt of public that the Bhowmik family of Dhanpur has become crore-pati through dangerous mafia-regime and drug-smuggling. He said, “The nesha-mukt Abhiyan is only for common men, whereas for BJP leaders it’s not applicable. In front of camera, I am challenging, I can prove in the court that Pratima Bhowmik’s brother Biswajit Bhowmik is a drug-smuggler and mafia. One after one proof I can place in the court”.

TIWN for many months has been battling against the drug-dragon under Biplab Deb Govt and also TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar in his talk show said, how Pratima Bhowmik’s brother Biswajit Bhowmik is controlling the drug empire and after election coasting around 1 crore tippers were bought by Biswajit Bhowmik to run his drug-empire.

Pratima Bhowmik has challenged the Election Commission and opposition to force “Zamanat Zabt” of the opposition on April 11 and April 18. She also said, after election from Panchayat level only BJP and BJP will rule the state. Breaking all protocols, Pratima Bhowmik entered a school in school hours and forced students, teachers to campaign for her.

Pratima Bhowmik was allegedly responsible for attacks upon opposition in last 1 year where above 2000 opposition activists were seriously injured and 7 were killed and many people’s houses, properties were burnt. Also she without having any official position directly controls official matters of Biplab Deb’s Govt. Top BJP leaders have resigned from party after BJP nominated her as MP candidate.

She is the main cause, along with CM Biplab Deb led party’s indiscipline situation. Pratima Bhowmik has submitted nomination today for West Tripura’s MP seat for BJP.

She is also the general secretary of State BJP, was defeated in last Assembly Election with Manik Sarkar at Dhanpur constituency.However, she is quite controversial figure in Tripura politics was the accused of her own brother’s wife’s murder. Few more cases were lodged against here during CPI-M era for anti-social works.

Also BJP MLA Surajit Dutta has alleged her nexus with drug mafias of the state. At the same time, Pratima Bhowmik has disputed property which is unmatched with her earning.
