AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN): Election Commission surprisingly silent against BJP’s organized terror across Tripura. CPI-M has placed a deputation to the West RO Sandeep Mahatme on Tuesday, submitted all persons’ names against whom FIR was lodged but were not arrested. At the same time two MLAs names were also added in the complaint for terrorizing the Elections and kidnaping, attacking CPI-M leaders. Addressing media, after placing deputation, Pabitra Kar said, “Our request to the RO of West Tripura was centering 14 assemblies of his constituency. We have urged him to create a democratic peaceful environment in the constituency so that people can cast votes fearlessly. Central force has arrived in Tripura but state’s police administration has seated them idle. The sensitive areas where since one year continuous attacks are going on and also centering the Lok Sabha Election, attacks are going on, so we have submitted names of those areas to the RO”. The CPI-M leader also said that infront of police officers patrolling should be done which can give a confidence to the people regarding stable law and order. More than two bikes should not be allowed to move, which is creating the main problem was also requested to the electoral officer.Pabitra Kar further said, “We have given all details about the accused persons against whom FIRs have been lodged with full details of those FIRs”.

“BJP is mostly terrorizing the minority areas on the basis of cast and religion, because they stay in a cluster. They are threatening that they can not cast votes and forcing to resign from party. The RO has promised us that he will sit in meeting with police higher authority, paramilitary forces so sort out the matter”, said Pabitra Kar.

“To sensitize the terrified areas, he (RO-West) will take appropriate action. We have told him that until we see the results of his promise, we can’t trust in words”, added Kar.

“MLA of BJP of Bamutia (Krishnadhan Das) rushed to police station and released the accused by threatening and from then no accused of his area was arrested. Another MLA of Suryamaninagar (Ramprasad Pal) entered in our supporters home and kidnapped him. At last police rushed to save that person from Suryamaninagar MLA”, said Pabitra Kar saying, “In the presence of MLAs terrorizing is going on”.

The sensitive areas have been mentioned as Mohanonpur, Agartala-town’s few parts, Ramnagar, 6 No Agartala’s few areas, Pratapgarh, Badharghat, Suryamaninagar.

It can be noted here, MLA Ram Prasad Pal’s image was never exposed unless he launched massive rigging in local body election at Dukli and threatened police for imposing section 144.

The other MLA Krishnadhan Das is a quite controversial character with these certain points raised by TIWN already :

1. Krishnadhan Das submitted two 12 passed boards' names of separate years in the election commission affidavit in 2018 Assembly Election,
2. He forced police to arrest TIWN reader for sharing news against him. Police arrested that reader Dipak Debnath at night 2 am without FIR,
3. MLA Krishndhan Das’s profession and ‘citizenship’ is under controversies. Many allegations came that Krishnadhan’s whole family is still in Bangladesh and he came few years back in nexus with drug-empire,
4. Recently after FIR was lodged against Krishnadhan Das by CPI-M he managed two CPI-M leaders illegal arrest.
