AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): TIWN prediction turns true as BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik has been announced as BJP West Tripura candidate for the Lok Sabha election, whereas Rebari Kumar Tripura will the East Tripura candidate (ST reserved seat). BJP General Secretary who advertises herself as ‘Agni-Kanya’ but having suspicious background with criminal cases against her, has been announced as BJP’s prime candidate which has erupted resentment further. Before announcement of candidate Pratima Bhowmik and Rebati Tripura started celebration declaring themselves as candidates for both the Lok Sabha seats. Pratima Bhoumik also aims to be Central Minister after winning Tripura Lok Sabha election.Even before announcement of MP candidates’ names, BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik’s goons allegedly had started threatening the opposition voters to leave houses across Sonamura area. Pratima Bhowmik will be submitting her nomination tomorrow, March 22.

The hooligans are roaming house to house, threatening public whom they are voting, everything would be recorded and thus not to vote for any other party.

They have told the locals across Dhanpur and other places of her area, if they vote for Pratima Bhowmik, she will become MP and then Central Minister.

It’s noteworthy, BJP MLA Surajit Datta himself brought allegation against this General Secretary that she is sustaining drug smugglers who are appointed also for money-extortion in border area.

Also against her multiple criminal cases are lodged in police stations including killing of her own brother Biswajit Bhowmik’s wife.

Pratima Bhowmik even though has no income officially, but already crores of property she is having, which she earned allegedly by phensedyl, ganja smuggling along with her brother Biswajit Bhowmik.
