AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): In a shameless display of misusing Press Club Platform, in a worst ever event at Agartala Press club today Chief Minister Biplab Deb has insulted the Chief Minister’s post and two bootlcker media persons Pranab Sarkar, Subal Dey have insulted the Fourth Pillar of Democracy by sharing same dais in support of ruling BJP State Govt’s performance and party’s positive propaganda. Under BJP’s JUMLA era, media ethics have lost all values and due to very few black-sheep in the media industry, Tripura’s whole media world’s image is today darkened. Instead of holding a serious press conference on 1-year completion of BJP-IPFT Govt with cabinet Ministers, Biplab Deb sat with two media persons Pranab Sarkar and Subal Dey, which shocked a major section of journalists at Agartala Press Club who came from various parts of Tripura. Not only this, when question was asked, what about cabinet expansion and police's neutral role, Biplab Deb lost his cool and insulted a journalist taking saying, “You do not have to think about my cabinet. Amit Shah is there. I am there”. But among those two sitting on two sides of Biplab Deb, none of the journalists opened their mouths, rather accompanied Biplab Deb with smiles seeing their colleague in trouble”.

However one of them Pranab Sarkar is well-known in bootlicking art always manages “incomings” under any Govt as he already started connection with next possible CM Sudip Barman’s team, which is underdoing recent whatsapp message jokes and he also held a certain level friendship kept with former CM Manik Sarkar.

Sandyan newspaper Editor Subal Dey even though dedicated his whole life to unseat communist and nobody can deny his fight.

Attempts were taken to shutdown TIWN, but TIWN couldn’t be stopped even by whole effort of Chief Minister Biplab Deb and each plan led by these black-sheep gang failed and not for a single day, TIWN stopped publication and still battles are going on in High Court.

Directly or indirectly, these two faces ‘destroyed’ Biplab Deb and due to their closeness without minimum ethics it created disturbances in media world in the state. Even the media persons who were supporting BJP lost faith in Biplab Deb’s ethics and values.

What happened with press club occupying it’s well-known and the previous press club members accepted that they were removed against their wishes from press club membership by Pranab Sarkar and the previous press club members have not changed their stands.

However, so far no report card could be given by Chief Minister Biplab Deb, rather any tricky question was asked, he ended by comparing with the previous Govt and blaming the previous Govt. So far, no talk about 50000 Govt jobs in the first year.
