UDAIPUR, OCTOBER 9 (TIWN): A special 7 days Yagna will begin in MataBari on Friday by praying for well being of the people living in the world. And everyday the Yagna will start at 8am morning and will continue up till 6pm. The purpose of the Yagna is to create awareness among the people about preserving our tradition and our Mother Nature. The yagna is being organised by Shib Ganga Sabitri Jana Kalyan Sangsthan, Maa Ganga Mandir, Bouraha Baba Ashrama, As far as Benaras, Kashi. 25 monks from Benaras have already arrived in MataBari and the preparation is now in full swing.

As part of this Yagga a 'Kalash Yatra' will start on Thursday morning in which men, women and children will take part. Again on the following day the Yagna will start. The main feature of this Yagna is that the fire will be created following the traditional methods," By scratching two flints of woods along with the uttering of the hymns of Vedas as it was done in the ancient days. Earlier days India was known for its devotion towards ' meditation', vedic life and the same should be followed if we are to survive," said Swami Bouraha Baba. He said that Nature is our God and if any torture is done towards Nature, she would retaliate.

He said," Coming here we heard that hundreds of fishes were killed in Kalyan Sugar and even last year thousands of fishes were killed in Kamakhya due to lack of Oxygen. And these two incidents shown that we are very careless about our surrounding Nature. And through this Yagna we will try to create awareness among the people about the precious objects of Nature. We must remember that we are safe as long as our earth is saved. So preservation of Nature is a must."
