AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Sunday while addressing at Tulsibati school has slammed the Govt school teachers for their failure to develop school education system, even though they are highly paid.

Biplab Deb said, “In compare to the private schools, Govt school teachers are getting more salaries. Infact private schools are keeping 3 teachers with a Govt school teacher’s salary. But till now people are preferring private schools for their children”.

“Private school and Govt schools image create also various insecurity feelings among students. Those who are studying in Govt schools may suffer from inferiority complex. So, now Govt is trying to develop the Govt schools as much as it can do”, he said.
