AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): With a dramatic move, Tripura opposition CPI-M MLAs walked out of the Assembly and held a press conference in the Assembly premise alleging speaker is not allowing them to speak out.
In such an allegation, former Minister MLA Tapan Chakraborty along with MLA Ratan Bhowmik, MLA Sahid Chowdhury rushed out of the Assembly and held a press meet.
The issue was raised centering Rudrasagar and Neermahal related problems facing by the locals. Due to swiss-gate the farmers are facing problem to do agriculture work across Neermahal area, MLA Sahid Chowdhury, Tapan Chakraborty, Ratan Bhowmik alleged.
Moreover, The Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy delivered wrong data about Rudrasagar, whereas oppositions’ points were not allowed to be discussed.
BJP MLA Subash Das started shouting on the opposition MLAs without any reason in uncontrolled manner and the speaker also didn’t help the opposition, alleged the opposition.
The same trend was going since the Day-1 of the Assembly. As a result out of the chaos, the oppositions walked out and raised the allegation before media that their voices are suppressed in the Assembly.
