AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): In a shocking display of revenge Tactics against businesses, under Biplab Deb’s instructions, State Fire Dept refused to issue NOC (No Objection Certificate) clearance certificate to Tripura’s premier Hotel ‘Sonar Tori’ after Hotel stopped supplying food to Secretariat for CM’s Night ‘Biriyani Parties’ due to massive pending unpaid bills. Since 11 Feb,2018 Union Minister Arun Jaitley, Ashok Sinha, Himanta Biswa’s ‘Vision Document’ inauguration to Dec 30,2018 BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik’s Birthday Party, Sonar Tori Hotel is burdened with BJP’s Mafia style looting as all these bills since 11 months remain unpaid. After Biplab Deb became CM, Biplab’s coterie led by OSD Sanjoy Mishra, Dilip Roy and other various corrupt elements initiated Night Biriyani parties in State Secretariat and everyday order started to Sonar Tori Hotel to supply Biriyani, Chicken, Mutton curries for which no Bills were cleared.

In December month alone, Biplab Deb’s coterie ordered food from Sonar Tori Hotel over Rs 1.5 lakhs for night parties but no bills paid. As a result, since 7 to 8 months, Sonar Tori Hotel Management requested CM’s Secretariat, State BJP leaders to clear some dues as Hotel is unable to  bear the losses over time but BJP leaders continued parties without paying any money to Hotel Sonar Tori.

Finally due to massive losses over Rs 90 lakhs since 11 months, Sonar Tori Hotel stopped supplying night Biriyani food to Chief Minister’s Secretariat, which infuriated Biplab Deb to such extent that he ordered to find a reason to teach Sonar Tori Hotel a lesson.  So, State Fire Dept showing some lame excuses denied to re-issue clearance certificate which caused Hotel Sonar Tori to shut down from Feb 19,2019 for unspecified period.

Now question raises among masses why State Fire Dept did not find faults in Sonar Tori Hotel since 11 months ? Why letter sent to Hotel Sonar Tori denying NOC only after they stopped supplying Biriyani to Secretariat ???
