AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): Modi’s JUMLA was defeated in Rajya Sabha but Tripura’s motormouth again attempted to fool State Public after CAB’s defeat in Rajya Sabha as BJP failed to pass the Bill. In a major faceloss for the Modi Govt with the Citizenship Amendment Bill was collapsed in the Rajya Sabha, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb along with Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma held a press conference said that Modi Govt is committed to Northeast development and the opposition parties without any major reason has spread lots of rumour on this Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB). Biplab Deb said, “I urge the people of Tripura not to get confused with the rumours. I am the Chief Minister and I am liable for Tripura’s welfare. To save Tripura I am committed”. When Northeastwide Citizenship Amendment Bill’s lapse is now being celebrated, Tripura rejoicing after the good news came from Rajya Sabha, followed by bullet hitting episode launched by Home Ministry of Biplab Deb on January 8, 2019 when 6 youths of Tripura left critically injured in police firing in addition of attempt of murder of the injured youths in the ambulance by TSR, Biplab Deb claimed, he would never allow any people of Tripura to be under any attack.

He further claimed that form rumour spreaders to common men, all are the people of Tripura to him. Being asked by media regarding the updates of Tripura Royal Scion Pradyot Manika’s various claimed, Biplab Deb ignored to answer the media.

He stressed that funding under Modi Govt has been increased in Northeast always and PM Modi aimed to make Northeast “Asta Laxmi”.

However, celebration notes are coming from oppositions from Delhi. After the controversial, unconstitutional Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) was lapsed in the Rajya Sabha, MP Jitendra Chaudhury said, ““Rajya Sabha has gone sine die up to June without Passing Citizenship Amendment Bill, Now BJP has to be defeated to finally bury Citizenship Amendment Bill”.

After the lapse of the CAB, Pradyot Manikya posted in his facebook, “It’s a victory for those who have opposed the Citizenship amendment Bill for now, but we will be watching the centre in the coming weeks what they do . The protests and opposition by all of you has ensured that the Government of India has had to back down . To those who were blindly taking the governments side and supporting the bill ,your own sarkar has let you down by backing out under pressure . This is the victory of every person who has supported us in opposing the bill”.

There will be also massive celebration with a victory rally to be launched by Pradyot Manikya.

However, Biplab Deb claimed that oppositions for political intention are misusing social media and people will give them the answer in time.
