AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Hundreds of agitators, State Congress today in Agartala have observed black-day during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This was the first visit of PM Modi in Tripura after the Assembly Election season.

During Moid’s rally, the black balloons were flying on the sky.

PM Modi who had promised a ‘Hira’ for Tripura before Assembly Election was failed to fulfil any of his promise and state’s unemployment problem has become double.

Thousands of job-slashing, slashing of beneficiaries names from the social pension list, poverty, hunger have hit the 11 months of BJP Govt in Tripura.

Modi Govt imposed taxes, hiked commodity prices and now applied taxes for the pensioners.

Recently over Citizenship Bill agitation, 6 Tripura youths were injured brutally in police firing.

Law and order paralyzed, elections were totally under rigging, people’s houses were burnt, opposition supporters attacked and killed.

With all these, Modi’s visit has been slammed by the common men by observing black day. Congress protested with black flags whereas public flied black balloons.
