AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): JUMLA-confusion has gripped Tripura’s politics and administration. In the name of IIIT’s inauguration, Modi to hold a rally here in Tripura on February 9 and instead of calling students in much claimed Educational programme, BJP Govt has called all teachers to fil up the field. In Tripura’s history such a JUMLA programme was never organized where IIIT will be inaugurated in a big field. In a circular given to schools it has been said that except 1 or 2 teachers, all teachers should come to Modi’s rally on that day. Modi’s Northeas visit to be started on February 8 and on February 9 he would conduct the rally here in Agartala. On 11 months of Govt formation, the ruling BJP is insecure, lacking support to fillup a field even at the Prime Minister’s visit. Reports say that 80% of the teachers were ordered by administration to join Modi’s rally on February 9. This report has caused wave of political tornado in the state. Whereas in working days teachers and employees have been ordered not to join any ‘dharna’ or conduct any programme, on political rally, teachers are forced to join ahead of Lok Sabha Election.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will to visit Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh next month. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said arrangements were being finalised for Modi's visit. Several tribal parties including the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) and the Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT) will submit a memorandum to Modi demanding withdrawal of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.INPT General Secretary Jagadhish Debbarma said many tribal parties, excluding the IPFT and CPI-M's Tripura Rajya Upajati Ganamukti Parishad, will stage a major rally on Wednesday in Khumulwng.

Keeping the Lok Sabha election ahead, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Tripura on February 9 and will hold bunches of programmes. Earlier, on 5th January BJP National President Amit Shah had visited and held a rally. PM Modi not only will inaugurate projects but also to hold cabinet meetings with Ministers and talk to BJP leaders. Agartala Airport which has been renamed recently by BJP-IPFT Govt as Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, will be inaugurated by PM Modi. Chief Minister Biplab Deb has already conducted a meeting in this regard with state officials and also sat in meeting with BJP leaders. One Railway extended line to be inaugurate and a building to be inaugurate at ITI, Agartala. BJP-IPFT Govt was formed in March 9, 2019 and PM Modi to visit exactly on 11 months completion of the Govt.
