AMBASA / AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Instead of banishing from the party, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has met Lantu Saha and advised him to continue the party activity, against home two women have brought charges of money-extortion.
From party side however no action has been taken against Lantu Saha, neither any statement was given.
Lantu Saha himself said that after FIR was lodged, Biplab Deb called him and advised him to work more carefully. On the other side, police have not taken any action against Lantu Saha, even though two women filed the FIR against him.
After no action was taken against Lantus aha, it has clearly proved that Lantu was working under the instruction of his party leaders and that’s why no action was taken against him.
Lantu Saha in midnight attacked a woman after she was delaying to cash him with 1 lakh. Also the rod is yet at her home.
The police complaint has been launched at Ambasa against the accused Lantu Saha by Viva Debbarma and Biswanandi Debbarma.
The amount of money extortion is 1 lakh. Whoever buys a new home in that area, they have to pay Lantu Saha that amount of money. Lantu Saha recently also assaulted a nurse, whereas no action was taken against him till day.
Also, he launched an attack upon MP Jitendra Chaudhury and the CPI-M before around 2 months. There are many more allegations against Saha, but BJP has kept him as party’s icon.
Lantu Saha threatened a woman Viva Debbarma if she doesn’t give him Rs. 1 lakh, can not stay here and build house. He is not allowing the constructors to enter the house if money is not given.
The family first tried to manage the situation by informing the local people and thus didn’t lodge any FIR earlier. But on February 1st midnight he went with weapons in their house with sticks and rods.
Another woman Biswanandi Debbarma has also complained same against Laltu Saha. Both have lodged FIR against him.
