AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): Amid Jumla after Jumla strikes to the people of Tripura led by 10 months old BJP Govt, Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday has claimed that he is not only the Chief Minister but also the “invention” of “time”, who brought massive revolution in Tripura. Biplab Deb was addressing at Vivekananda Byamagar in Agartala and said, “I have made all plans for the upcoming years. Three years I will work and two years will be the result and then I will go the people will new Vision Document after fulfilling all the promises I did to the people”. Signaling he will be the Chief Minister after 5 years of Election, Deb added, “In 2024 what I will do, I know and have planned accordingly. Seeing my report card even though, people will decide what I did, but there will be many events and development even in 2014”. “Tripura is a small state but often people have seen this negatively, but actually this is the biggest power of Tripura. From Japan to Israel all developed countries are small in size. If those can develop, why not Tripura ? I will change Tripura. Biplab Deb not only the Chief Minister but also was invented by time. People never thought such a change will come in Tripura’s political history in 2018. Nobody knew me earlier but my party has given me the opportunity to work as the Chief Minister. Time’s landmarks can nobody change”.“I am the first MLA from Banamalipur constituency to get that much of votes in Election”, he added while beating own drum.

When BJP MLA himself brought serious allegation against party General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik in narcotic smuggling nexus, Biplab Deb today said under his regime, drug mafias are on the verges of destruction.

“In next 8 to 9 months, Sonamura will have ships on river Gomati. Tripura will be a logistic hub. Earlier to listen whistles we had to visit Indo-Bangla border to check the trains’ passage but now not only 5 Express trains came under PM Modi, but ships whistle will be heard within few months at Sonamura”, Biplab Deb said.

It can be noted here that in last 10 months of BJP rule, even though State Govt couldn’t develop anything in the State, but unemployment rate is now 28.8% which is highest in the whole country whereas in March-2018 under the previous Govt it was 15%. MGNREGA mandays slashed, social pension beneficiaries’ names have been slashed covering around 60,000 people and massive terminations are going on in Govt sectors along with cancellation of existing recruitments and the Govt is yet far from fulfilling Vision Document. Tripura’s pathetic law and order, brutal tortures on innocents by ruling party and recently held Jirania violence is now not only in national media but also have hit international media.
