AGARTALA, Jan 21 (TIWN): With a major jolt for middle class families and those who don’t have Ayushman Bharat cards, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing on Statehood day at Rabindra Bhawan has announced to privatize the Govt hospitals in Tripura.
Biplab Deb also had planned to get profit from 85,000 Bangladesh patients per year after privatization of those Hospital in PPP model.
Announcing privatization of Govt hospitals in Tripura in PPP model, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb claimed that 85,000 patients per year go to Chennai in India for treatment.
Privatization of hospitals will develop the infrastructure and thus those 85,000 patients will be able to come in Tripura for treatment.
Biplab Deb said, with private partnership patients of Tripura who have to run at Chennai, Kolkata for treatment, they will not have to go out then.
