AGARTALA, Jan 17 (TIWN): With another jolt for Biplab Deb Govt, Tripura Manikya Dynasty inheritor Pradyot Manikya, who is also a top Congress leader slapping the BJP-IPFT Govt has come forward against the State Govt led delay of giving compensation to the Jirania victims and announced compensation from “own pocket”.

Visiting Jirania Police firing incident and meeting the people at there, Pradyot Manikya said, “I am not beggar to demand from the Govt. I have come to give. I will rebuild the destroyed shops and public properties”.

Pradyot Manikya further urged people to get united with identity i.e. “People of Tripura” but not by community base identities, opposing divide and rule policy earlier played by BJP-IPFT Govt.

“They will create violence and the blame goes to one particular community and the benefit goes for vote banks”, he added.

(On 8th January the BJP-IPFT led Govt ordered firing on Tiprasa people who were agitating against the Citizenship Bill. Also ruling party BJP burnt houses, properties with intention to create communal violence)
