AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Tripura plunged into crisis as democracy lost in State after brutal police firing on 6 innocent Tiprasa youths at Madhav Bari, Jirania. On March 9, 2018 was claimed as a historical day for Tripura as first ever BJP Govt was formed in the state, witnessed by lakhs of people at Agartala Assam Rifles ground, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to all heavyweight Central Ministers. BJP National President Amit Shah on that day said that Tripura’s victory will be remembered and discussed in upcoming days as political reference. Before the election BJP promised a ‘HIRA’ for Tripura by replacing poverty with “achhe din”, wage and social pension hikes, regularization of contractual employees, curbing of unemployment. Today, 10 months of that oath-taking ceremony has been completed with all worst outcomes of the Govt, sms and mobile internet service is suspended for the second major time as after mob-lynching, now Home Ministry’s brutal dictatorship left 6 Tripura youths injured critically in police firing at Jirania on Tuesday.

Statewide demand raised for stepping down of Biplab Deb as the Chief Minister as well as Home Minister. Law and order crippled, corruptions on peak. Except per week gaffes, Biplab Deb again and again came in national media either with his luxurious palace at Delhi or his 20-vehicle convoy with ambulance service.

The Jirania violence was instigated after BJP activists started picketing against strikers in brutal manner, which was also unique example for Tripura. Earlier, it was never seen that ruling party activists are attacking strikers but after attacking in capital city strikers, the BJP unnecessarily entered Jirania where in democratic manner road-blockade was going on by Tiprasa students against the controversial Citizenship Bill. During the protest without prior announcement or firing in the air, directly police started shooting, left 6 youths critically injured. 1 still critical, taken outside the state.

All the political parties have condemned the incident.

BJP started violence since Lenin’s statue bulldozing in undemocratic manner on poll-result day and continued each-night attacks on the opposition. Poll-rigging was open and exposed in social media and at the end Govt led brutal attack injured 6, whereas so far no statement from BJP-IPFT Govt yet came on Jirania police violence.

Regional parties already demanded IPFT should withdraw its support from BJP and Biplab Deb led BJP Govt lost indigenous vote banks. At the same time with massive job recruitment slashing, 7 lakh unemployed youths vote banks are at down for BJP. 10323 terminated teachers have announced protest against BJP Govt. Attacks on media is yet unending.

Thus in 10 months, BJP losing ground in Tripura turned the most hated party under Biplab Deb’s leadership. Vision Document so far turned a JUMLA.
