AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): Talking about 10 months of performance of the BJP Govt, Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar recalled and condemned the arrests of unemployed youths in Tripura in June-July month when they went to meet Chief Minister Biplab Deb. Such attempt of killing the voice of democracy never happened in Tripura earlier.
Via such arrests and threats, BJP Govt even though successfully downed the voice of youths and voice of democracy, but it could not benefit BJP’s image so far under Chief Minister Biplab Deb and BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik.
“Two times unemployed youths in massive numbers were arrested. The second time was before the Secretariat after the brutal tortures followed by arrests were done at Asabal Stadium when police job aspirants went to meet CM.How can Tripura forget those days ?”, said Saumen Sarkar.
“The voice of democracy has been killed in Tripura. House to house jobs resulted in massive cancellation of ongoing recruitments”, he said.
The Editor also criticized Govt led termination of contractual employees in Tripura.
“Earlier 11 and now more 18 ongoing recruitment was cancelled by TPSC. I request to all deprived youths, job aspirants to file case against TPSC. Fight against corruption”, he added.
“Tomorrow Amit Shah (BJP national President) is coming. I want to ask him where are 50,000 Govt jobs in first 1 year, which was promised by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the Vision Document ?”, the Editor added.
