AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): Dhanpur’s Assembly Election loser cum Smuggling / Ganja queen who is also Tripura BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik now aiming for MP seat to strengthen her base for her dream of becoming a Central Minister. Pratima now trying to cover-up her background of various crimes including murder of Dhanpur Mandal President Ranjit Majumder (died of food poisoning on May 30,2018) and her brother Bishwajit’s crime history under “Agni Kanya” (Daughter of Fire) claim. Pratima’s coterie now has multiple facebook account whereas one of the accounts has been named as “Agni Kanya”, but now question is how this “Bish-Kanya” (Daughter of Poisonous snake) came in politics after having an unbelievable crime history. It’s none other than Chief Minister Biplab Deb, the only person in BJP to save her from party supporters rage and under Biplab Deb’s extra favoured attitude for her led her massive publicity in all Govt programmes, sharing dais with CM and Govt officials. Not only this, but Bhowmik has been controlling all funds which are coming for Sports Dept led a massive corruption in the recently held Northeast Youth Festival.

BJP Dhanpur Mandal President Ranjit Majumder worked hard for 5 years since 2013 to strengthen BJP’s base in Dhanpur, spent his own hard earned savings Rs 35 Lakhs but a honest BJP leader in Pratima Bhowmik’s smuggling empire in Dhanpur region had little chance to survive criminal onslaughts.

But Pratima Bhowmik was defeated badly with former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar at Dhanpur constituency amid her all attempts of winning the constitution (Till latenight counting continued at Dhanpur due to Pratima Bhowmik sent goons at the booth).

After BJP’s win in Assembly Election and Pratima Bhowmik’s defeat to Manik Sarkar in Dhanpur Assembly seat finally angered the Mafia Queen that due to Ranjit Majumder’s rivalry, Pratima was lost, but with Biplab Deb seated as the Chief Minister of Tripura, she had no threat or risk in her illegal den.

So, Pratima Bhowmik first labeled false accusations against Ranjit, removed from Mandal President’s Post, then within few weeks Pratima gang food-poisoned Ranjit Majumder which caused Ranjit Majumder abnormal death on May 30 at Agartala.

Before Ranjit Majumder's murder, Ranjit sent letters to Biplab Deb mentioning his life risks, then asked to know on what basis he was removed from Dhanpur Mandal President's post without any notice or not even following BJP Party Constitution.

Under Pratima Bhowmik’s control, Tripura’s law and order has been collapsed, whereas it’s only she who is behind attacking media houses, attacking oppositions and various crimes which left without statement from BJP. Also Howrah river bank locals eviction planning was done by her and attacks on people at Border areas also credited to Bhowmik’s contribution.

Even though Chief Minister Biplab Deb and his party claimed that crime rates decreased in 2018, but the crime records data has exposed the BJP Govt.

Whereas in 2017 total only 3,894 cases had been registered in various police stations, in 2018 the number has spiked up 5,663 triggering a nation-level tension on Tripura’s law and order.

125 kidnapping of girls recorded in last year from April to November. In 2017 the number was 81.

A sharp increase also recorded in miscellaneous cases which from 2017’s 584 cases, increased to 1,027 cases and the number of non-IPC cases also rose from 155 to 593.There was also a spike in the murder and road accidents numbers.

Law and order has been deteriorated to that level that former Minister was slapped but Chief Minister and his party never reacted on that.

Oppositions , media are facing the worst consequences in Tripura under BJP ruling and state turned a narcotic den under BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik and her smuggler brother Biswajit Bhowmik.

Tripura has witnessed the most undemocratic govt for the first time in state’s history. Increasing crimes  as mob-lynching, rapes, murders are in one side, but the major threat is, the ruling party itself has been engaged to break the law and order everyday. A former Minister was slapped, opposition top leaders to supporters and their family members were attacked brutally, people’s houses were burnt, but all such activities left without any action as the whole crime episode has been controlled by Chief Minister Biplab Deb and party general secretary Pratima Bhowmik.
