AGARTALA, Jan 1 (TIWN): Across Tripura Hindu devotees are celebrating Kalpataru Utsav, which is held in every new year.
At Agartala Jahar bridge lined area's people have jointly organized this festival. At Udaipur-Bagma area (Mirza), a huge function is going on dedicated for saint Ramakrishna.
Kalpataru Day also called Kalpataru Diwas or Kalpataru Utsav is an annual religious festival observed by monks of the Ramakrishna Math monastic order of Hinduism and lay followers of the associated Ramakrishna Math, as well as the worldwide Vedanta Societies. These organizations follow the teachings of Ramakrishna, the 19th century Indian mystic and figure in the Hindu Renaissance.
