AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): If not BJP, who did slap Ex-Minister Bhanulal Saha ? If police plays neutral role, why no arrest of Nabadul Banik led goon for attacking Bhanulal Saha and on the next day CPI-M General Secretary Gautam Das ? Why there was no action against Nabadul Banik after with footages it was shown how he attacked CPI-M’s meeting and Ex-CM Manik Sarkar’s convoy. After so many attacks, injuring 75 years old woman, BJP has claimed the election was peaceful. So far no action was taken against BJP’s “marked†criminal of Bishalgrah Nabadul Banik even after he and his team had slapped, punched Ex-Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha and his tea,m further attacked Gautam Das at Bishalgarh. BJP Yuva Morcha Bishalgrah President Nabadul Banik who before a month back had attacked former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar at Bishalgrah today has slapped, punched 65 years old, Ex-Finance Minister of Tripura Banulal Saha on his face when he visited polling centres during Municipal by-poll.Saha’s spectacle was also broken in that attack and he received injuries on his face. Even though FIR was lodged but police have not taken any action yet.
After the attack, talking to media, Bhanulal Saha said, he never could imagine young people of his locality will attack him like this. The 65 years communist leader is also suffering from cancer.
Total 10 candidates have submitted nominations and accordingly CPI-M candidates along with polling agents went to the booth centres. In Booth No-3 and Booth No-5, polling agents were sent whereas like all booths BJP prevented them to enter in those booths also. At 9 am, BJP miscreants led by Nabadul Banik. along with around 50 BJP goons started beating the CPI-M activists and polling agents at there.
The BJP miscreants led by attacked Ex-Minister Bhanulal Saha who was the polling agent of Ward No-4.
On yesterday, once again Bishalgrh BJP goons led by criminal Nabadul Banik has organized attacks on CPI-M. CPI-M kicked off a massive protest rally after CPI-M State General Secretary Gautam Das was assaulted, attacked at Bishalgrah while returning from Udaipur. When Gautam Das and MLA Ratan Bhowmik were returning from Udaipur to Agartala, at Bishalgarh a vehicle rushed before their vehicle and few BJP miscreants stopping the vehicle attempted to pull Gautam and by grabbing his muffler they stretched him to come out of the vehicle.
Immediately Gautam Das from the vehicle called DGP A K Shukla and other officials, but so far no action has been taken place.
