AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar has expressed shocks over BJP youths led attack on 65 years old Ex-Minister of Tripura Bhanulal Saha.
Saha was slapped, punched on his face today by BJP activists after he visited polling station at Bishalgrah as the polling agent. This activity was led by Yuva Morcha leader Nabadul Banik, who recently attacked even Ex-CM Manik Sarkar but instead of being punished, Nabadul is now operating as the bright star of BJP.
The Editor said, “I cannot imagine the lowest level of degradation in Tripura Politics where BJP goons slapped an Ex-Minister Bhanulal Saha, who is also a Cancer patient. I condemn this brutality, also it’s a shame in Bengali culture to treat an elderly person in this manner. I request civic society to rise above narrow lenses of politics and condemn this uncivilized act. Also I would request everyone to raise your head and corner all attackers, get out of all fears. If you keep quiet, it’s a shame for your own self. We all die one day, but fight for your dignity, for your honor, donot surrender to few hooligans. It’s a shameful day in Democracy !”
