AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): Tension has gripped all the contractual employees in Tripura since the BJP Govt in a circular told all depts to stop further recruitment. Already employees, unemployed youths in Tripura were hesitating to go in protest followed by arrests, action against agitators but now the order from Finance Dept saying ‘no more Govt job in Tripura unless an employee goes in retirement has shocked not only unemployed youths but also the contractual job holders as the order also says, Tripura has enough numbers of employees already and no more required. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb in Assembly data, on June 25 has made Govt’s stand clear that regularization of contractual employees will be done only after proper surveys.SSA teachers earlier also met Chief Minister Biplab Deb and talked in this regard but now under Govt's interference, teachers are unable to raise their voice for regularization.

SSA teachers' various times raised their certain demands as :

1) Regularization of all teaching, non-teaching staffs

2)Demand of granting all financial benefits to all employees working under SSA

3) Demand of abolishing the process of continuous of tenure of service and removal of discrepancy in payment of salary of non-teaching staffs of SSA

4) Demand of solution of the discrepancy observed in the secondary level examinations held under NIOS

5)Demand of making provisions for the Die-In-Harness scheme under SSA

6) Demand of making provisions for availing loans under SSA

7) Demand of introduce of child-care-leave in SSA.

At the same time, the RMSA staffs who are working since 2011 have placed their own demands in a separate demand-draft. Their demands are : 1) Regularization, 2) As not all the teachers have B.Ed degrees and needful marks in graduation, so the teachers have requested the Chief Minister to consider the issue by managing relaxations by talking with the HRD Minister, 3) Equal salaries like state govt employees.
